RALGA achievements in line with its mandate (advocacy, capacity building and representation) resulted in more ownership by its members (30 Districts and Kigali City). As a consequence, RALGA member are keen to play a bigger role in the association’s sustainability through a gradually increasing membership fee. At its creation in 2002, RALGA membership fee was of 200, 000 Frw ($ 330) per month and per member. In 2005, the fee passed to 2,000,000 Frw ($ 3,300) and starting from January 2011, the fee raised to 5,000,000 Rwf ($ 8,300).
